March 2012 admission cycle for degree in Multimedia & Animation has started at Animation Live from the 1st February 2012. Animation Live offers 3 programs in Degree named B.Sc. Animation (Bachelor of Science – Animation), B.A. Multimedia (Bachelor of Arts – Multimedia) & M.A. Multimedia (Master of Arts – Multimedia). Eligibility for bachelor programs is 10+2 or equivalent from any state education board, CBSE, ICSE or Diploma which is equal to 12th standard and for Masters it’s any degree from UGC recognized university. Degree programs shall be in semester pattern. There shall be 6 semesters in Bachelor Degree and 4 Semesters in Master Degree. Each semester will be of 6 months. Animation Live is offering these programs through UGC Recognized University. The university is a recognized university of Distance education Council (DEC), New Delhi, regular member of the association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi, permanent member of Association of commonwealth universities (ACU), London, UK, Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), Beijing, China, and also has association with commonwealth of learning (COL). Last year enrollments in this University for various courses were more than 1,50,000.
Animation Live started its first session of degree programs in Jun’11 and students from that cycle have successfully taken their 1st semester written examination. Before these written exams students went through the practical exams and the viva. Franchise centre’s of Animation Live bases in Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Sangrur are also offering the same degree courses. Animation Live has its own Production House at Chandigarh and students get practical training approach during their tenure at animation Live. Students after passing out from the bachelors and masters program get credits for admission in the foreign universities.
